Energy Monitoring System

Smart Energy Solution

Energy Monitoring System (EMS)

An Energy Monitoring System (EMS) is an intelligent platform that continuously measures, records and analyses electrical parameters across your facility — voltage, current, power, energy, power factor, frequency and harmonics. It converts raw electrical data into actionable insights through a web-based dashboard, helping you identify energy waste, reduce electricity bills, detect anomalies early and support sustainability targets. Available in panel-mounted, DIN-rail and wireless (IoT) configurations with local HMI and cloud connectivity.

  • Parameters: V, I, kW, kWh, PF, Hz, THD
  • Sampling: Up to 128 samples/cycle
  • Communication: Modbus RTU / TCP, MQTT
  • Data Logging: On-board + Cloud storage
  • Alerts: SMS, Email, Mobile App
  • Scalable: 1 meter to 1000+ feeders

How the Energy Monitoring System Works

EMS combines metering hardware, communication gateways and analytics software to deliver complete visibility of your electrical energy usage.

Smart Metering Layer

Multi-function energy meters and current transformers (CTs) are installed at each feeder, distribution board or machine. They measure voltage, current, active / reactive / apparent power, energy (kWh, kVARh, kVAh), power factor, frequency, THD and individual harmonics — sampling at up to 128 points per cycle for accurate true-RMS measurement.

Communication & Cloud Layer

Meters communicate over RS-485 / Modbus RTU to a data concentrator or IoT gateway, which transmits data to a cloud server via Ethernet, WiFi, 4G or MQTT. The cloud platform stores historical data, performs analytics, triggers alerts (email/SMS/app) and provides live dashboards accessible from any browser or mobile device.

  • Supports ISO 50001 energy management and ESG / sustainability reporting requirements.

Electricity is one of the largest controllable operating costs in any industrial or commercial facility — yet most businesses have no visibility into how, where or when that energy is consumed. Without measured data, energy decisions are based on guesswork, and savings opportunities go unnoticed. Rising tariffs, peak demand charges, power factor penalties and environmental targets make energy visibility a strategic necessity, not a luxury.

Our Energy Monitoring System (EMS) addresses this gap with accurate metering, reliable communication and intuitive analytics. From identifying idle machines and scheduling heavy loads to off-peak hours, from detecting phase imbalance to tracking power factor across the plant — the EMS gives you the data you need to make informed decisions, reduce energy costs and meet sustainability goals. It integrates seamlessly with existing panels and can be deployed as a standalone solution or as part of a broader power quality strategy.
